Billing & plans
How much does Quotra cost?+
Side Shop is $19/mo, Pro Shop $49/mo, and Premier Shop $99/mo; Enterprise is custom. Every plan is monthly — cancel anytime.
What are the plan limits?+
Each plan sets limits on users, products, and monthly quotes, jobs, and tickets. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
Is there a free trial?+
Not at this time. If you're interested, reach out — we're happy to talk founding-shop pricing.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Plans are monthly with no contract, and you keep access through the end of your paid period.
What's your refund policy?+
Refunds are handled on a whole-month basis, and your access stays active through the end of that period. See our Refund & Cancellation policy for details.
Payments & payouts
How do my customers pay me?+
Your customers can pay by Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Square, cash, check, or card through Stripe — whatever they're comfortable with.
Does Quotra take a cut of my sales?+
No. You connect your own Stripe account and keep 100% of every sale. Processor fees are pass-through, with no platform markup.
Can customers pay by card?+
Connect your own Stripe account and a card option appears on your invoices — the funds go straight to you.
Where does my money go?+
Straight into your own account or payment processor. Quotra never holds or routes your funds.
Do you mark up payment processing?+
Never. Every processing fee is billed straight from your processor — Quotra adds zero markup.
Can I take a deposit or partial payment?+
Yes. Require a deposit or a percent-down as part of the quote-approval flow — your customer approves and pays the deposit up front, with the balance due later.
Data & security
How is my data protected?+
Every shop is isolated at the database layer with Postgres row-level security, so one shop's data can never cross into another's.
Can other shops see my customers or pricing?+
No. Your customers, pricing, and order history are sealed off from every other shop on the platform.
Do you sell my data?+
Never. Your data is yours — we don't share or sell it, full stop.
Who owns my catalog and customer data?+
You do. Bring your own catalog and pricing, and your supplier relationships stay yours — we never step between you and your suppliers.
Do you back up my data?+
Yes — continuous backups with point-in-time recovery. Every change is captured through write-ahead-log archiving, so at most a few minutes of data is ever at risk. Backups are kept in off-site, geo-redundant storage alongside a separate nightly backup, and we test restores monthly.
Field team & mobile
Is there a mobile app?+
Yes — a mobile web surface at quotra.shop/m, with no app-store download, built for your team at the point of sale.
What can my field reps do on mobile?+
Build quotes, and pull up the jobs and quotes lists to check summaries and statuses on the go.
How do field reps sign in?+
Reps sign in with their email and password at /login (or your shop's login page) — the same way as on the web. The login page works on any mobile browser.
Can I control what my team can access?+
Yes. Each team member is assigned a role that scopes their access — an owner has full control, managers get broad administrative access, staff can build quotes and view their own work, and support roles are limited to tickets and a narrow slice of the app.

Getting started
How do I get started?+
After you sign up, a dashboard checklist walks you through your business profile, products, and your first quote. Most shops are up and quoting in under 10 minutes.
Can I import my existing products?+
Yes — import your catalog by CSV (Pro plans and up) with column mapping for wholesaler exports, or add products by hand on any plan.
Which supplier catalogs work?+
Bring your own catalog and pricing. CSV import with column mapping handles exports from common wholesalers.
Do my customers need an account?+
No. Your customer gets a secure portal link — nothing to download, no login to create or manage on either side.
I'm switching from another tool — can I move my data?+
Yes — import your customers and products so nothing gets left behind in the move.
Product & workflow
What kinds of jobs can I run?+
Personal, corporate, non-profit, and internal jobs, side by side. Non-profits skip tax automatically, and corporate jobs add a configurable contract.
How do proofs and approvals work?+
Send your customer a portal link. They upload their own art, logos, and reference images, trade notes with your team, and approve each proof — you iterate right there until it's exactly right.
Does Quotra auto-quote or auto-approve anything?+
No. The owner is always in control — no auto-quoting, auto-responding, or AI-approved proofs.
What happens to finished jobs?+
Archive completed quotes, jobs, and invoices so your workspace shows only what is active — every historical record stays one click away.
